We are excited to announce a Recruitment Open House event on Saturday, April 13th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Station 2, located at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Woodlawn Ave.

This event is an excellent opportunity for community members to learn about the rewarding experiences of volunteering as a firefighter or EMS worker. Our dedicated volunteers form strong bonds through shared experiences, training, and working together to protect our community. They rely on each other in high-pressure situations, fostering a deep sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

During the Open House, attendees will have the chance to:

* Tour the fire station and see our equipment and vehicles up close.
* Meet and interact with our volunteer firefighters and EMS workers.
* Learn about the various roles and responsibilities within our department.
* Discover the extensive training programs we offer to ensure our volunteers are well-prepared.
* Explore the many benefits afforded to our volunteers, including professional development opportunities and community service recognition.

Becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMS worker is not only a way to give back to the community but also an opportunity to gain valuable skills and experiences. Our volunteers are vital to the safety and well-being of our community, and we are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team.
