The Chief's Office of the Saint James Fire Department regrets to announce that 53 year member and Honorary Chief William Nichols has answered his last alarm.

Chief Nichols joined our department on November 4th, 1970, and during his many years with us, he became an integral part of our community, serving with dedication and distinction. His contributions to our department and his leadership will never be forgotten.

Chief Nichols was not only a respected fellow member, but also a mentor and friend to many. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
