| On Monday, the St. James Fire Department traveled to the Suffolk County Training Center in Yaphank to sharpen our skills in “taxpayer response” operations. Continuous training is critical to ensuring our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most.
During the training, our members focused on key firefighting skills including Forcible Entry, Ventilation, Search & Rescue, and Engine Operations. We are proud of the dedication our members show in continually improving their skills and readiness.
