Dave joined our department on January 3rd, 1968, and served as both an active firefighter and life member for 56 years. A Day at the Ballpark for the Kids

After months of preparation, the Stony Brook Burn Center Committee of the St James Fire Department hosted a special event for pediatric patients who were previously treated in the burn unit at Stony Brook. Our dedicated members, Mark Parris and his wife Lorraine Gari organized a memorable outing to a Long Island Ducks game to brighten the kids’ spirits. Five families joined us for this exciting day.
